I'm not smiling too big am I???

Ahhh it feels good to know that I only have 6 actual working days left at Amec. Thanks to a stat holiday and a company EDO (Earned Day Off) this is going to be a pretty good final 2 weeks. I even may get to have a couple of those days off if I can find someone from another project to come take my position right away. It seems that if I find someone they will pay me for my remaining time but not require me to come in. Who's going to argue with that?? While I am more then happy to be leaving Amec, it was a good job while it lasted except for maybe these last 3-4 months which truly sucked donkey balls. I'm not sure if it was just me or not but the feeling of team just isn't here anymore. The backstabbing to climb the corporate ladder has gotten way out of hand. Usually I'm not one to say anything (hahahah) but when your boss tells you to do something and you ask them again if this is how they want it done, you do it that way then they come back to you the next day with an engineer in tow and blame you for the mistake so that they don't look bad in front of the guy with 15 pens sticking out pocket and the glasses held together with tape and a haircut from the 60's.!!! Hmmm what's wrong with this picture. Well if you know me, I don't cotton to that shit!!!
Bahh enough about that, it's time to be happy and joyful cause I'm outta here.

So I was surfing the net today at work, looking at the Bungie.net site when I clicked on a link on the forums and found this. Makes a strong case for parents to really pay attention what their kids are doing on XBL. Its also damn funny too.
In other news, today I put in my notice of resignation at Amec. As of Nov.21 I will be working for a company called Cintas working on one of their trucks. The great thing about this job is that while the days are 11 hours long, I only work 4 days a week!!! Happy happy, Joy joy!!!

Update on those hockey tickets. We got them. They are $55 bucks each and I still don't know where the seats are but will be finding out early next week when I get them. Schmunk I will get yours and you can pay me back when you get into town. I haven't contacted the Mangler yet but will soon. Zibby are you still in? If not I need to know so I can find someone else to take the ticket.
